Market Traders Institute (MTI) is a provider of financial education and proprietary trading technology, helping traders of all levels navigate the markets with confidence. With over 30 years in the industry, MTI develops innovative trading systems and strategies designed to empower its students with the tools, insights, and mentorship needed for success.
My primary role at MTI was to enhance digital marketing experiences and improve customer engagement through strategic design and technology solutions. One of the most impactful projects I led was the creation of a custom billing dashboard designed to give customers full control over their subscriptions. The goal was to streamline the user experience by allowing customers to easily upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their plans while also offering add-ons tailored to their subscription tier.
The existing billing system lacked user-friendly options for managing subscriptions, leading to frustration among customers and an increased volume of support requests. Additionally, since the primary marketing website handled product discovery and information, there was a need to bridge the gap between marketing and billing—ensuring that users who clicked "Add to Cart" were seamlessly directed to the billing dashboard for checkout.
The challenge involved:
To solve this, I led the UI/UX design of the billing dashboard, ensuring an intuitive and efficient experience for users. Using Figma, I created low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, emphasizing a frictionless upgrade/downgrade process with clear pricing structures, product add-ons, and a transparent cancellation flow.
Beyond the billing dashboard, I also played a key role in MTI’s transition from Salesforce to GoHighLevel, recreated the help article website for improved performance (reducing load time by 72%), and developed automated marketing workflows to enhance lead nurturing and sales conversions.
